My name’s Faye Marie Arndt and I’m a doula.
A doula is a woman who serves and encourages another woman during pregnancy, childbirth and the first couple of months when the baby comes home. In other words, I like to think of myself as one who “mothers a new mother”.
And so that’s why I decided to call my site “a labor of love.”
I am a certified birth and postpartum doula through DONA International. I am also a certified lactation counselor (CLC). I’m passionate about empowering, educating and encouraging moms.
